The Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) basketball crushed the host Morris Jeff Pelicans (New Orleans, LA), 70-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Pine was trounced by Franklinton (Franklinton, LA), 71-70, in a non-league test.
The Pelicans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7.
