The Wilson Academy basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles to 48 in the non-league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potter's House Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Wilson Academy will meet a Lions team coming off a 69-59 non-league loss to Wesley Christian (Allen, KY). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.

The Fighting Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bell Creek Academy (Riverview, FL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Bell Creek Academy nudged Bishop Snyder (Jacksonville, FL), 47-39, in a non-league contest.
