The Oak Ridge War Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Porter Spartans to 37 in the War Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The War Eagles now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Oak Ridge will meet a Rangers team coming off a 55-30 non-league loss to Porter (Porter, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 1-11.
The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Conroe (Conroe, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Conroe nudged Dekaney (Houston, TX), 59-49, in a non-league contest.
