Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sanderson Eagles (Sanderson, TX), 45-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ozona upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Lions host Harper (Harper, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Harper lost 62-55 in their recent non-league bout against Comfort (Comfort, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Irion County Hornets (Mertzon, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Sanderson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 61-55 non-league loss to Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX).
