The Palmyra Panthers basketball team (Palmyra, NE), was toppled 57-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Southern Raiders (Wymore, NE)

The Raiders now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson County Central for a C2 District 1 battle on Tuesday, December 5. Southern will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 62-45 league loss to Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-1.

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Johnson-Brock beat Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE), 69-46, in a non-league battle.
