Paxton Bobcats (Paxton, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Red Level Tigers (Red Level, AL), 47-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Paxton upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Jay (Jay, FL) to play the Royals in a 1A District 1 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Jay won 60-59 in their recent non-league bout against Destin (Destin, FL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Red Level will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 56-41 non-league loss to Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL).
