Texas High School Basketball - San Benito ripped by Port Isabel

The Port Isabel Tarpons basketball team scored 48 points and held the host San Benito Greyhounds to 27 in the Tarpons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tarpons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Veterans Memorial for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Port Isabel will meet a Chargers team coming off a 58-47 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 4-1.
The Greyhounds (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Edcouch-Elsa triumphed over Economedes (Edinburg, TX), 62-48, in a non-league contest.
