The Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) basketball nipped the visiting St. Charles Pirates (St. Charles, MO), 54-52 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bruins (2-0) will now prepare for their test against De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, De Smet Jesuit was tipped by Kickapoo (Springfield, MO), 60-52, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Warrenton for a Gateway - North test on Tuesday, December 5. St. Charles will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 47-36 non-league win over Elsberry (Elsberry, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
