The Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) basketball felled the visiting Rockwall Yellowjackets (Rockwall, TX), 55-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Chaparrals (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers go into the 6A Region IV District 26 test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Lake Travis was beaten by Stony Point (Round Rock, TX), 66-63, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cypress Falls for a non-league test on Saturday, December 2. Rockwall will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Austin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
