Texas High School Basketball - Round Top-Carmine can't hold off St. Paul

The St. Paul Cardinals basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Round Top-Carmine Cubs to 36 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. St. Paul will battle a Panthers team coming off a 66-39 non-league loss to Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.

The Cubs (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shiner (Shiner, TX). The Comanches come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Shiner was nudged by Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX), 82-50, in a non-league contest.
