Texas High School Basketball - Seguin crushes Wilmer-Hutchins

Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles (Dallas, TX), 69-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seguin upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Cougars host Joshua (Joshua, TX) to play the Owls in a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Joshua won 84-59 in their recent non-league bout against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Wilmer-Hutchins will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 68-66 non-league loss to Coronado (Lubbock, TX).
