The Tupelo Golden Wave basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting West Point Green Wave to 58 in the Golden Wave non-league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Wave now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pontotoc for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Tupelo will battle a Warriors team coming off a 84-69 non-league loss to New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 5-5.

The Green Wave (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ripley (Ripley, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Ripley was defeated by North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS), 61-48, in a non-league contest.
