The Eldorado Golden Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Manzano Monarchs to 17 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hope Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Eldorado will battle a Huskies team coming off a 57-46 non-league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.
The Monarchs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Belen triumphed over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 37-35, in a non-league contest.
