The Shakopee Sabers basketball team (Shakopee, MN), was nudged 57-54 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN)
The Stars now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orono for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Academy of Holy Angels will battle a Spartans team coming off a 76-49 non-league win over Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.
The Sabers (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Robbinsdale Armstrong edged Kennedy (Bloomington, MN), 51-42, in a non-league battle.
