The Albert Lea Tigers basketball team (Albert Lea, MN), was overwhelmed 79-25 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Mayo Spartans (Rochester, MN)
The Spartans now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owatonna for a AAAA Section 1 battle on Tuesday, December 5. Mayo will battle a Huskies team coming off a 71-18 non-league win over Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Scarlets come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
