Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Era Hornets (Era, TX) and the visiting Bellevue Eagles (Bellevue, TX), saw Era's basketball squad knock off Bellevue by a tally of 56-40.
With the victory, Era improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Callisburg won 47-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Coram Deo Academy (Plano, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Bellevue will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
