The Bishop LeBlond Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Mound City Panthers to 34 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Bishop LeBlond will battle a Lions team coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] (Burlington Junction, MO). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Andrew (Rosendale, MO). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, North Andrew prevailed over Stanberry (Stanberry, MO), 39-35, in a league contest.
