Braymer Bobcats (Braymer, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gilman City Hawks (Gilman City, MO), 36-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Braymer upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Southwest (Ludlow, MO) to play the Wildcats in a CLAA bout on Monday, December 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Southwest lost 35-26 in their recent non-league bout against Orrick (Orrick, MO)

Next up, the Hawks play the Union Star Trojans (Union Star, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Gilman City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 50-34 league loss to DeKalb (DeKalb, MO).
