Nebraska High School Basketball - Bridgeport crushes Perkins County

December 1, 2023: Bridgeport, NE 69336

Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), 81-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bridgeport upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to play the Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 1-0. St. Patrick's won 27-24 in their recent non-league bout against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE)

Next up, the Plainsmen play the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs (Haxtun, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Perkins County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Fightin' Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 47-32 non-league loss to Fleming (Fleming, CO).
