Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), 48-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Braves host Livingston Central (Smithland, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Tigers play the Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Caldwell County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-49 league loss to Livingston Central (Smithland, KY).
