Central Yellowjackets (Louisville, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN), 77-71 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Clarksville Academy lost 87-38 in their recent non-league bout against Ensworth (Nashville, TN)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 51-32 non-league loss to Lyon County (Eddyville, KY).
