The Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) basketball felled the visiting Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA), 49-30 in Friday's non-league test.
The Stingers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Bishop Carroll thwarted West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA), 59-32, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Shamokin for a non-league test on Saturday, December 2. Central will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 59-32 non-league loss to Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-1.
