    In Friday's non-league outing, the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) basketball squad beat the host Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE), by a count of 48-37.

    The Bison (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Valentine (Valentine, NE). The go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Valentine defeated O'Neill (O'Neill, NE), 41-32, in a non-league outing.

    The Longhorns now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sidney for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Chase County will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 76-15 non-league win over Brush (Brush, CO). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
