Texas High School Basketball - Del Rio thwarts Uvalde

The Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), 50-37 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rams (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Southwest Legacy notched a victory over Pearsall (Pearsall, TX), 80-41, in a non-league test.

The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Floresville for a 4A Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, January 2.
