Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), 34-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spring Creek upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Gators host Midway (Dunn, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Dixon will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 54-26 non-league loss to Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC).
