The Dodd City Hornets basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Howe Bulldogs to 26 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sam Rayburn for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Dodd City will battle a Rebels team coming off a 61-28 non-league win over Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 6-4.
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Leonard ran past Detroit (Detroit, TX), 56-36, in a non-league contest.
