The Sam Rayburn Rebels basketball team (Ivanhoe, TX), was overwhelmed 56-30 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Dodd City Hornets (Dodd City, TX)

The Hornets now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ector for a 1A Region III District 23 battle on Tuesday, December 5.

The Rebels (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Cumby was overwhelmed by North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX), 44-36, in a non-league battle.
