North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont tops East Gaston

Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), 44-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Piedmont upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-4. East Mecklenburg lost 51-34 in their recent non-league bout against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)
Next up, the Warriors play the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. East Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Greenwave come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 47-26 non-league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC).
