North Carolina High School Basketball - Enka nips Thomas Jefferson

Enka Jets (Enka, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), 55-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Enka upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Jets travel to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-0. West Henderson won 67-33 in their recent non-league bout against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC)

Next up, the Gryphons play the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Thomas Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 61-58 non-league win over Lamar County (Barnesville, GA).
