The Festus Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Potosi Trojans to 38 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valle Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Festus will meet a Warriors team coming off a 38-35 non-league win over Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sullivan (Sullivan, MO). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
