The Tatum Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Gilmer Buckeyes to 33 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Tatum will battle a Tigers team coming off a 62-44 non-league loss to Rains (Emory, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
The Buckeyes (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Texas (Texarkana, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Texas was routed by Burges (El Paso, TX), 50-29, in a non-league contest.
