Groveton Indians (Groveton, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Mt. Enterprise Wildcats (Mt. Enterprise, TX), 29-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Groveton upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Garrison (Garrison, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) in a 2A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, December 15. Mt. Enterprise will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
