The Westlake Academy Blacksmiths basketball team (Westlake, TX), dropped 61-47 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Hockaday Daisies (Dallas, TX)

The Daisies now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Worth Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. Hockaday will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-8.

The Blacksmiths (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chisholm Trail Academy (Keene, TX). The Blazers come into the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Chisholm Trail Academy beat Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX), 69-30, in a non-league battle.
