Kentucky High School Basketball - Ryle thwarts Holy Cross

The Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY), 60-51 in Friday's non-league test.

The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Lawrence Central notched a victory over Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN), 60-30, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Dixie Heights for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Holy Cross will encounter a Colonels squad coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Mercy (Louisville, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 3-0.
