Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN), 49-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hopkins upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Royals host Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN) to play the Red Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Red Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Benilde-St. Margaret's won 71-54 in their recent non-league bout against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN)
Next up, the Panthers play the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Lakeville North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
