IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Link Academy Lions (Branson, MO), 58-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, IMG Academy upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Ascenders travel to Northside (Fort Smith, AR) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Northside won 68-49 in their recent non-league bout against Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Hebron Hawks (Carrollton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Link Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Grandview (Aurora, CO).
