Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), 69-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ingomar upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Pontotoc won 59-50 in their recent non-league bout against South Panola (Batesville, MS)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS) in a 1A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Myrtle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 50-25 league win over Jumpertown (Booneville, MS).
