Iowa High School Basketball - Iowa City West knocked off by Prairie

The Prairie Hawks basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Iowa City West Trojans to 45 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterloo West for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Prairie will meet a Wahawks team coming off a 64-59 non-league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Wahawks record now stands at 3-0.

The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The Rams enter the Mississippi Valley contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Dubuque Senior was defeated by Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA), 69-22, in a league contest.
