Texas High School Basketball - Veterans Memorial trounces Juarez-Lincoln

The Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) basketball crushed the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), 62-12 in Friday's non-league test.

The Chargers (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Rivera (Brownsville, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Rivera was trounced by Lopez (Brownsville, TX), 53-29, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pace for a non-league test on Saturday, December 2. Juarez-Lincoln will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 38-34 non-league loss to San Perlita (San Perlita, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 2-14.
