The Lanier Bulldogs (Jackson, MS) basketball felled the visiting Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS), 48-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Jim Hill thwarted Wingfield (Jackson, MS), 45-12, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Central for a 7A Region 2 test on Tuesday, December 5. Murrah will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 45-29 non-league win over Moss Point (Moss Point, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-1.
