The Laurel Highlands Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Taylor Allderdice Dragons to 36 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Regional for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Laurel Highlands will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-56 non-league loss to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hempfield Area prevailed over Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA), 62-56, in a non-league contest.
