In Friday's non-league outing, the New Way Christian Academy Eagles (Odessa, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Marfa Shorthorns (Marfa, TX), by a count of 54-26.
The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Buena Vista (Imperial, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Buena Vista was crushed by Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX), 45-22, in a non-league outing.
