In Friday's non-league outing, the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE), by a count of 44-23.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Twin Loup (Sargent, NE). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Twin Loup was crushed by South Loup (Arnold, NE), 40-33, in a non-league outing.
