The Valley Mills Eagles basketball squad scored 48 points and restricted the host Moody Bearcats to 28 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Valley Mills upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mart (Mart, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Mart lost 37-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Granger Lions (Granger, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Moody will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
