The Truman Patriots basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Platte County Pirates to 37 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Kansas City for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Truman will battle a Hornets team coming off a 48-43 non-league win over Grandview (Grandview, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 3-1.

The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lafayette ran past Ruskin (Kansas City, MO), 67-28, in a non-league contest.
