Florida High School Basketball - Riverview Sarasota nips Port Charlotte

Riverview Sarasota Rams (Sarasota, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Port Charlotte Pirates (Port Charlotte, FL), 57-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverview Sarasota upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Rams host Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Boca Ciega lost 48-41 in their recent non-league bout against Booker (Sarasota, FL)

Next up, the Pirates play the Bradenton Christian Panthers (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Port Charlotte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 65-33 non-league loss to Sarasota (Sarasota, FL).
