The Purdue Polytechnic Techies (Indianapolis, IN) basketball crushed the host Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN), 65-36 in Friday's non-league test.

The Techies (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN). The Deaf Hoosiers go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record.

The Spartans now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Knightstown for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Southwestern will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 58-26 non-league loss to North Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
