The Springer Red Devils basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Raton Tigers to 11 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Primero for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Springer will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-25 non-league win over Walsenburg (Walsenburg, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Cimarron was routed by Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM), 78-29, in a non-league contest.
