Southlands Christian Eagles (Rowland Heights, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA), 39-14 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southlands Christian upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA) to play the Regents in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Regents come into the bout with a record of 5-1. St. Lucy's won 34-28 in their recent non-league bout against New Harvest Christian (Norwalk, CA)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Faith Baptist Contenders (Canoga Park, CA) in a Heritage bout, on Tuesday, December 5. St. Monica Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Contenders come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 34-31 league win over Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA).
