The Triumph Charter Jaguars basketball team (Sylmar, CA), was nudged 42-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA)

The Vipers now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sherman Oaks CES for a Valley battle on Thursday, December 7. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will confront a Knights team coming off a 44-30 non-league loss to AGBU (Canoga Park, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.

The Jaguars (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against New West Charter (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, New West Charter edged Horace Mann UCLA Community (Los Angeles, CA), 47-0, in a league battle.
